Data sources
App Store rankings come from Apple's public RSS feeds and the iTunes/App Store storefront APIs. Google Play rankings come from the public Play Store top-charts endpoint. We only collect public ranking and listing metadata — never private or user data.
Update frequency
App Store charts are collected in three daily waves; Google Play once per day. Positions are compared against the previous day's snapshot to compute the deltas you see (and against the nearest snapshot within seven days when yesterday is missing).
